only rich people do this. People just use like TurboTax here, which is free. Rich people save more from the tax loopholes than they spend on the accountant, too.

it's the same anywhere, a basic employee can easily do his taxes, if you run businesses or have many rental objects or work across borders it's more complicated and requires professionals
t. work in this shit (and hate it)

IRS be like: "we know EXACTLY how much you owe us... But we're not gonna tell you, have fun figuring it out on your own. Remember, jail time if you underpay us by a penny."

We do this because customers will blame the accountants when the Tax Authorities ask them to clarify their bullshit incoherent numbers

>government doesn’t tell you how much you owe in taxes so the accountant grift can continue
>if you underpay the taxes you’ll get a letter with the amount you need to pay since they know what you owe (nothing for the opposite?)
What’s to stop someone from not paying some guy to do their taxes, pay $100 in taxes and then pay whatever the government tells you is the correct amount in the letter after?

You pay accountants in order to avoid the hassle of dealing with government bullies who are clueless about accounting and might as well make you pay double or triple of what you actually owe to the state

>buy tool clearly for private use but its one i can easily defend on the business, might need it only once every second year, i definetly dont need it now (but i do at home) and when i do need it at work i rather not buy it full price in a hurry, better to buy it now at half price.
this is an incoherent number according to accountants.
another
>have a stockpile of second hand, used, given for free or found in the trash stuff thats fully functional and can save the day in a pinch
>cant bill it as an item or part since i have no record on how i got it...
>agree with and charge customer hours of labour equal to its price
b-but incoherent numbers?
>file expences on all fuel cost
>it is however cheaper to pay myself salary and fill tax free offroad diesel
>only file expences for enough diesel to cover work driving plus some more, rest is offroad diesel
>actually file some offfad diesel as fuel for my generator (that i never use)
b-but what it if?
no, never happends. stop asking questions, you are getting annoying.

We base our opinion based of the International Financial Reporting Standards or GAAP and also the Tax Law.

tax law is written down and public, everyone can find it, its written in legalese in an attempt to be loophole-free and it pretty much is but there is still ways around it, or should i say ways to use it to your benefit, meh thats not even right, ways to use it to greatly reduce your total tax burden. you gonna pay some tax anyway.
father is a retired accountant and fulltime farmer on the side, you cant get more skilled than that in this field. and my best friend is a lawyer who worked for the tax department now specialized in running cases against them.
i got my ass covered.

The thing with US federal taxes is that they are like 20 different forms under one form.

The data is all the same yet they want it in 20 different ways.
