Apart from various character flaws, I don't ever want to have a kid, get married, or go into a large amount of debt in order to obtain the right to occupy a house. Ever. And those are the three basic things that women want and expect out of life. If they can get all three, they will. Otherwise if they can only get one or two of the three, they'll make do. But if a man actively refuses to do any one of those three things, then from the woman's point of view, there isn't any point in a relationship with none of the above. I also place a very high value on being left alone and being able to do what I want, when I want, how I want to, without having to take other people's feelings into consideration.

I've only loved one woman in my life, but she was too ugly. Dating is a nightmare. Being by myself is so stress free it leaves me tons of time and money to indulge any of my new hobbies on a whim at any time.

I’d block her if I knew I’d never see her again, but she’s an acquaintance of my sister and they’ve worked together a couple of times in the past. I also spent a few weeks working with her this summer, which is how I met her, and I feel like it might happen again in the future
that being said, I know what you mean. Not everything is as green as I want to make it, and there are some underlying thoughts that tell me I’m still seeking her approval as a person

I know it's risky going down that rabbit hole, but I fear I won't feel fulfilled for a long time unless I know whether she likes me as a person. I think I'm mature enough to maintain my distance and not develop romantic feelings again once I know how she feels about me
I wish I had never met her in the first place, but I don't think blocking her or trying to ignore her existence will make my brain think any differently
