finasteride and dutasteride will certainly help, though no guarantees they'll be able to stop it completely, especially if you have supraphysiological androgen levels. fin and dut are 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. 5-alpha reductase is necessary for converting regular testosterone (T) into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is significantly more potent in causing hairloss than regular T. your regular T levels will stay the same or possibly slightly increase on either medication. both T and DHT are useful in building muscle mass, but T alone is sufficient. however, if youre taking roids, you might have a different idea of what "sufficient" is, and, in that case, you just have to choose to maximize one goal or the other. minoxidil will help in any case and won't kill your gains because it isn't hormonal in the first place
