This. I met a finnish guy in a hostel once and since we were both solo traveling we went out together exploring the city. This guy had no reaction to anything he was seeing/hearing/experiencing, he'd also almost exclusively talk if he was prompted to, the only thing I remember him saying unprompted was ''there's some garbage over there'' pointing at an area behind some bushes in a public park. I guess that struck him as something very unusual for finnish standards. Nice guy but it kinda felt like hanging out with some early prototype android where the emotion chip still needed to be installed

On another occasion I went on a date with a finnish girl and while she was a bit more talkative than the guy above I also needed to carry the convo most of the times otherwise we would just be walking in silence for long stretches which I find pretty awkward but I guess it's normal in Finland

They're one of the most notable Finnish hardcore bands, if you're into that kind of thing you'll learn of em one way or another. Same as Rattus and Kaaos. I prefer Japs and Swedes when it comes to hardcore though.

Pyöveli is great stuff. Sepultura were only good to me on their first 2 albums, Morbid Vision and Bestial Devastation. Schizophrenia were fine too, but they already lost a great deal of their energy on that one. After that they kept getting popsy.

Yes, but I'm not interested much in it. The only Russian HC band I may say I like for sure is Curt & The Contras, though they're more thrash than punk. Apart from that I like very early Кoppoзия Meтaллa, but nothing past that - they went to shit very quickly.

I don't know honestly. I don't think there's proof that finnish and mongolian are actually related, but I think there are some grammatical quirks that are similar or the same between the two languages (and also turkic languages etc)
