Yes. I remember it like yesterday when they started selling the very first kebab pizzas in Sweden.

The sauce we have now (the classic kebab sauce) took a few years to emerge as it is today.
In the beginning pretty much every pizzeria had their own version of a "kebab" sauce. Was everything from kebab dressing to yoghurt sauce with various spices.
No idea who first made the modern one, but suddenly everyone had it. Now it's available everywhere.
