but even if you are not willing to do that, it was a very tiny city in 1869. the whole city got build during the industrial revolution that arrived in eastern europe later. we are also not the ones demanding reparations from germany all the time anyway so most people dont have a problem with the history of the city

Ex-german lands were still useful, as soviets couldn't yoink entire buildings that were left standing, and the overall railway/road network, electricity/gas network even if fucked over still were in place that commie Polish government could then relatively easily build back to proper use, so these regions were still overall okay. But portraying it as if ex-german lands were some fucking high-tech wakanda lands with entire factories ready with machinery for Poland to use day one is retarded.

Interwar Poland built an entire new seaport of Gdynia next to Gdańsk, that was fully Polish and entirely on Polish land specifically to not rely on german run Danzig that was chimping out blocking cargo. Before WWII Poland was entirely independent in sea cargo trade, with 100% of sea trade going trough Gdynia that was entirely on Polish territory. Try to read wikipedia retarded chud.

Also I never claimed Poland's sucess was only due to the transferement of the german lands(rich in resources, urbanized and industrialized, ports, etc) I said its untrue Poland started without advantages or in the same conditions of a colonized country.

Even during the partition of poland, poles were never subjects of colonial rule like that that Europe imposed in Africa, Asia and Latam
