My city has detectors that listen for gunshots. They can tell the difference between fireworks and if they detect shooting a cop car is sent to patrol around.

my sister is a doctor, a few months ago working on ER, she got a dude who tried to blow his brain with a shotgun but blow his face instead.

they somehow manage to save him, and after a month in coma now he is alive and well. without suicide thoughts and without a face.

I could buy one legally very easily but I'd never be able to carry it around legally except to go to the shooting range and only with the bullets in a separate container.
