Yeah, the EU regulations are purposefully written in a vague matter so they can be selectively enforced. In this instance they tried fining Shein at the same time to hide the anti-American bias but it didn't work.

It's funny that you mention AI training though because X and Meta both worked with EU regulators to do that in a way which would comply with the GDPR only to get threatened with fines anyway.
