I figure that at least 70% of the reason that the byzantines have such little pressence in popular media compared to ancient greeks or the romans is their aesthetic. It doesn't ressonate with people for some reason.

I really like Byzantine women's dresses. It's just like a different form of the Greek and Roman dresses. Imperial clothes kind of are an eyesore though

1. Cool all around except the helmet which is not my taste
2. Probably my favourite. Cool helmet with that chainmail mouth covering I always found to be cool, dark coloured chainmail + gold looks great
3. The helmet is alright but theres too many scales
4. Very classical antiquity looking which I'm a fan of, looks pompous and lacks grit so it's a mood thing for me whether I'd rather larp around as this guy or nr.2
