Are most Indians who live in India aware of their bad reputation in foreign countries? People in most countries, even other Asian countries, have a stereotype about Indians that they are unhygienic and lustful/creepy.

Keeping these facts in mind, why isn't there a nationwide attempt by the government to improve people's behaviour and hygiene levels?

Bollywood actually makes media that paints foreigner women as being unable to resist the charms and appearance of indian men, in contrast with the pickier pricklier Pooja.
It's why when jeets migrate they whiplash so hard, and why so many jeet posters here insist on indian racebaiting, they've been fooled their entire lives.

I think it's a stretch to say they think, they just do. These people will stand in front of a train to take a video. They operate on instinct.
