Hindi is the language and ethnic group. Hindu is the religion.
The Punjab is 200km of flat farmland away from New Delhi. This is like asking a Vietnamese person whether they prefer Yorkshiremen or East Anglians. Arr rook same.
Coastaloids/Southrons are preferable because they more readily integrate since the coast is more developed and urbanised, had more British influence and is generally more worldly by virtue of having historical trading ports.
