Boomers will claim that this generation just isn't working hard enough. They then go out of their way to attend every city Council meeting to vote on zoning laws to ensure that no high rise building devolpments will ever be in their vicinity and nothing will ever get done

I'd be all in favor of high-rise developments around where I live, but then again, how can you make sure those properties won't end up in the hands of junkies, STD-riddled homos, rapefugees, and Visajeets? The point of living in the suburbs should be to live in a safe, low-pollution zone, not to live in a place where you'll risk getting knifed by some Haitian or Somali immigrant.
