I have already.
Basically in grade school I told everyone I was gonna be a NEET (of course, not that word in particular) and nobody believed me. Not classmates, not the teachers. "Oh you'll get over it".
This continued throughout school until 9th grade. This is the last mandatory school year in Sweden. Last weeks were "plan your future" days and everyone was talking about their high school direction "oh I am going to construction, oh I am going to gardening, oooh I am going into IT". Me? Gonna be a NEET.
End of year, I fucked off. Quit school. My friends were shocked.
Fast forward 20 years, meet some old classmates via my childhood friends. "Oh anon, so what do you do thesedays?" they asked looking very prim and proper.
Me dressed in my sweatpants and old bomber jacket I've had since I was a teen said "I am a sick pensioner aka permaNEET".
Nothing has ever killed a conversation that quickly and that deeply before. They looked completely dumbfounded. I achieved exactly what I told them I would and never, not once hesitated or strayed off my path.

I am nearly 30 years old and completely wasted my life from ages 23 to 29. Seriously I worked my ass off near the end of high school and then in uni just to end up being the biggest lose I know

As I said, I am a sick pensioner.
Due to health reason I am considered unfit for work and I get pension for life. In my case the equivalent of 1795 USD per month on my account.
Plus all the benefits a senior pensioner has. Cheaper public transport, discounts, jumping the queue in healthcare etc.
I live in my comfy little apartment here in Kalmar and life is good.

Kalmar Industries AB was previously a major Swedish manufacturer of forklifts. Nigga I'm past 40 it's been over lmao. At least I'm healthy and the pension is doing fine. Not on the hook for some kid or a divorce, no nasty diseases, get on well with the parents, don't live anywhere in or near Asia or Africa. I even like my job, I just sort of lucked into a post that I enjoy. Life is fine.
