i went to lectures the first 2 or 3 times and realized i didn't actually have to do that and just stopped going. only went for the exams. spent 4 years just chilling

i dropped out of school when i was 14 and i noticed that what the teachers wanted to teach (indoctrinate) me was becoming less relevant for my life and more relevant for shaping me into a slave for the system
i wasnt going to be another brick in the wall o algo
instead i became a 4chan incel

Best time of my life, I was learning things that I actually wanted to learn, and that I could use all of them to have a significant impact on reality. It probably saved my life doing it because I did use a lot of things that I learned there to improve my own life and deal with a lot of health problems.

dont remember any fun times, it was depressing since i was broke and missed out on everything majority of the time

My grades were average at best, my family couldn't afford Uni so I went to technical school for applied geodesy.

I got a useless degree that has never helped me in my working life.
However I got a taste of the normie life which was a lot of fun.
10 years later I'm 30 and have zero friends and zero life outside of work.

First time I just went to classes and went home and didn’t interact with anyone.

Second time I was working full time and went to uni one day a week because my employer paid for my tuition, because all my course mates were also colleagues we had a good laugh and went out for drinks sometimes.

Dorms here are like any other apartment building. I don't know my neighbors now and I didn't back then. Very easy to be lonely in uni.

Laughably terrible.
I went to a commuter college and didn't hangout with anyone outside school and there was no college life there at all or any parties or anything. I would come straight home after classes (lived with parents the whole time to save money) and jerk off to yiff and watch anime.
I only made one friend the whole time who is also a loser and is now a perma neet. I ended up with a meme degree I've never used and I've only ever worked hs grad jobs since graduation. Complete waste of time but par for the course for me since I'm worthless garbage.

I only had 3-4 friends, and most of it happened during covid, so I dropped out -- it was too depressing, even if covid made it easier to cheat during exams

I quit. Couldn't bear the social aspects and wasn't motivated to go through with it due to personal circumstances. Will give it another go in a couple of years. Mature students are not expected to participate in the extra scholarly activities

Uni was basically just studying, being sleep deprived, classes, more studying, going to a party and regretting it because even more sleep deprived after and sitting in my room at my pc.

in middle school you think they're all grown ups.
in high school you think they're like you but grown up.
in college you realize they're all like you. still children in their heads.
and you have to be. anyone who's "grown up" in the brain is too rigid to learn all that they make you learn. only child brains can handle that.
anyone shitting on college "kids" being too immature hasn't been asked to do anything mentally challenging in many many years.
