Also, Hispanic young people in the US are clearly more influenced by black culture than Asians are ; there's kind of like a tacit black/Latino and white/Asian divide in terms of socialization. But that’s the point: Christianity is so omnipresent that it’s become unknowingly part of the culture. Think about how much this country shuns suicide while it used to be seen as honorable in East Asian countries like Japan. Or how Protestantism encourages rebellion while Confucianism requires obedience.

Idaho has one of the lowest high school graduation rates in America. But culture is more than just going to school. How many Asians have European names? Besides the Philippines, what Asian cuisines are greatly inspired by Europe. When’s the last time in America you saw an Asian police officer, farmer, or soldier?
