Where the Wild Things Are is a 1963 children's picture book written and illustrated by American author and illustrator Maurice Sendak, originally published in hardcover by Harper & Row. The book has been adapted into other media several times, including an animated short film in 1973 (with an updated version in 1988); a 1980 opera; and a live-action 2009 feature-film adaptation. The book had sold over 19 million copies worldwide as of 2009, with 10 million of those being in the United States.[3]

Gurokawa (グロカワ), also known as "Creepy Cute" in the West, is a Japanese aesthetic that is characterized by a juxtaposition of Kawaii visuals with grotesque elements and morbid humor.[1] It is similar to Pastel Goth (which it inspired) except without the traditional Gothic elements.

Gurokawa takes advantage of the expectation that cute themes also feature cute characters and vice versa by twisting it. Not only are there many depictions of monsters with overly cute appearances, but also adorable mascot characters engaging in violent and cruel behavior.[3]

Here you can get such things in like 1 of 1000 Chinese restaurants.
With many you need to speak Chinese to order such dishes, because it won't be on the menu.
