Whites here are italian+spanish, a small minority of germans and other stuff from britain and ireland.
I maybe see a handful germanics or people with german ancestry (or poles) here and there but they are not in significative numbers

Brazil has a tad more but is the same, not really a lot

Most white south africans are boers/afrikaans who were not wealthy or separate from blacks to begin with, and now have no political representation in a state whose leaders often endorse violent rhetoric against several ethnic groups including them, as part of their party jockeying, what we all erroneously call 'politics'. In many things, they are objectively disadvantaged as nu-equality policies in South Africa as well as many other countries are openly discriminatory. If they were truly well off then a lot more of them would've left, simply on safety grounds. They don't have the means to.

There are lots of famous people in Latin America of German ancestry. Gisele Bundchen, Ana Hickmann, Adolf Hitler. It is pretty common.
