On 10 September Poland's Air Force officially retired its fleet of Sukhoi Su-22 Fitter fighter-bombers.
With the type's retirement, the sole remaining aircraft in active service from the days of the Warsaw Pact will be the 22BLT's fleet of Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrums.
