Unironically travel. I've been all over the USA, all over the world, go abroad for months at a time.

When I return from a trip I feel anxious I'm wasting my life. I also used to travel with gfs but I've been single for a couple years now. I used to enjoy that freedom but sometimes, especially when driving for 10 hours or something I feel the creep of loneliness. But I just haven't been interested in dating again but I miss the feeling of a road trip with a girl. It always makes me feel like I'm 16 again.

Nah my favorite ex was basically my perfect girl. She loved hiking camping she enjoyed driving too and we would switch off and we always had so much fun joking and laughing the entire pulling over just to kiss periodically and sometimes sleeping in tents sometimes random motels. I think my trips with her were the closest to bliss I will ever got. It was like a constant buzz and I felt like nothing else mattered I didn't care about my future or past. I don't even know if I'm capable of feeling that way anymore. I feel like some things just go away with youth. I'm still in my 20s but I feel so much more jaded the last 3 years or so. I dated another girl since her and would get little bits of the feeling but nothing close to it. And since I broke up with the last one I just haven't even tried to date again.
