When I first saw this monologue on The White Lotus I thought it was a joke or absurdist humor, but the more I think about it there's some truth to it. Typically a person that's so obsessive over an abstract concept like femininity or thinks that sex is the highest social activity is fundamentally obsessed with women. I wonder what the psychology is behind this behavior because I'm out of my depth with it, but it's definitely a trend. It feels like some OCD derived fetish.
