Small business owners are some of the most evil people in the USA. I'm not even joking. They are mostly hostile assholes that aren't capable of working on a team. There are strong reasons that drive people away from getting a normal job

Consider that companies like Walmart and McDonald's have:

Big companies will NEVER:
- engage in wage theft
- try and fuck you over
- put you into dangerous situations
- force you to work overtime

Virtually every big company job has
- paid time off or sick leave
- benefits
- free shit

I have a McSpicy Chicken burger with French fries and cold coffee almost every other day. With an Oreo McSwirl sometimes.
I also used to order a McSpicy Fried Chicken but they recently changed it to mimic KFC's fried chicken here so I don't order it anymore.

Health is habit, not individual things

You know where some employee at McDonald's or Walmart would be without that job? Back in their home country like the Philippines or Guatemala struggling to even put food on the table. I don't totally disagree with you that labor protection is important. Stuff like OSHA and food safety laws are vital to keeping American workers and consumers safe and healthy.
