It's far better than the maghreb, true. But it's not that good. I've met a few nafri students who came here to graduate here and they can't find a job. So what they do is they move to the other side of France in a city they never heard of to get a job, or they get another diploma but this time in a french university because it has more value here, or they just become NEETs. The job market here is very VERY field dependant. You can be unemployed for years or you can get multiple job offers per week with a very good salary. So whether or not you should come here depends on your diploma but even then, the only nafris I've met (nafris from north africa) had at least done part of their curriculum in France. Maybe they did 3 years in the maghreb, but they specialized later on in France. Only people I heard who came here and got a good job with a fully nafri university diploma were working in health.

Be careful about software engineering, it's very region specific. In the south east you'll have opportunities, but in the north it's a saturated field and you'll be ghosted. A ton of people switching fields doing quick diplomas hoping to start making good money.
