To start off with, I don't consider American Evangelicals to be Christians, and the Eastern Orthodox Church doesn't reject universalism. Furthermore, there is no mention of hell in the Holy Bible.

I don't know what the point you are making is either, but you are right that Italians had a much larger print on the US than Indians. They were a far larger group numerically and even moreso when you adjust for the size of the US as a whole at the time.
