You didn't know? Farmers have one of the highest rates of suicide in the USA.

Farmers barely make any money, and they are highly reliant on the weather. One bad season can send them into debt. Drought + bad weather can quite literally kill them.

Don't forget, John Deere makes it so that you have to pay a subscription to their newer models of tractors, And you cannot fix your own tractor or you'd get sued. They can't buy other tractors either, because of tariffs on China.

Not only that, the new administration has put on heavy tariffs on fertilizers (Canada) etc. So not only are costs going up, revenue is also going down due to other countries refusing to buy American agriculture due to the ongoing trade war.

So you have an already #1 suicide professional, getting even more pressure to commit suicide.
