Had my S20 for almost 5 years now. Longest I've ever had a phone and it works exactly like how it did when I bought it which has never been the case with any other lagdroid I've owned. Aside from the 4chan app buttons being burned in slightly lel.
Not honestly sure what I want for my next phone. Tempted to get an iPhone since android is getting rid of side loading apps but I'm already used to android for the last 15 years so idk

Isn't there one called ichan that's good? I think no decent dedicated 4chan app is a deal breaker. The one on android works well despite having to open the browser to actually post sadly.

I just buy middle range Samsung phones each 3-4 years for like 300-400 euros, and they do everything I want perfectly fine. Sometimes even better than 1k euro iPhones lmao, I had middle range Samsung with 120hz led display and brighter display when iphones were still running 60hz ips displays.
Unless you care about camera (that I almost never use) or better cpu that will make your app open 0.1 second quicker (unless you play mobile games, that I don't) there is no reason to buy flagship phones hardware wise.

I still own my 13 Pro Max and I don't plan changing it for a long time. iOS works better than Android for me but releasing a new phone every year is insane and stupid.

I switched to an iPhone because it made my phone plane $10 less per month and it was the worst decision I've ever made. I want my Galaxy back so bad. This iPhone was 2 years new than my old Galaxy and it has a worse camera, barely (if any) optical zoom, overheats from playing youtube videos, highlighting text in virtually unusable, Siri is useless, and the display is impossible to see in any amount of sunlight. These phones fucking suck.

Many people are shallow/materialistic here but I've yet to see anyone care what kind of phone you use. I'm still using a Galaxy Note 10+ and it works fine. Still average about 30-40 hours on a single charge (roughly 4-5 hrs screen-on time).
