It's not working that I dislike, it's how unfair it is. I have to give money to people I don't give a shit about. I have to give money ot a government who does nothing for me, fucks me over, and enacts a lot of rules and regulations that make both my life and my work life substantially worse. I like working and I want to earn what I worked for, which would be a lot. I don't fucking want to pay taxes to help out people I don't care about. They can go to hell. Never asked for help, never asked for financial support, now I need to be a cash cow. THey can all go to hell over it. We're not a group, they are all strangers to me, I never talk to them and I don't know what their lives are like and their death would mean nothing to me, they're virtually the same as foreigners, yet I give them more than half of my paycheck just because we're somehow a "group". I worked for 9 years (18 to 27) when I got fired due to covid (half the company got sacked) so I rented a cheap apartment, moved in and started renting out my own apartment.
Realized I made enough money doing that to live on so I didn't even bother looking for a job.
Two years ago I bought a small cabin/vacation home in a popular vacation spot and rent that out. Now my income is above what my previous salary was and I basically don't have to do anything except sign a contract a few times per year.
