The southernmost portions of those states will rightfully join mega-South Carolina along with Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi. Texas, Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Oklahoma and Louisiana will also merge into a new mega-state.

These mostly follow natural borders too though. The Ohio River + the non-glaciated Allegheny Plateau, into the Allegheny Mountains then following the Potomac. Only the southern most border is just a arbitrary straight line.
