eat it.
looks like my moms "pizza" when i grew up. it was a square pan with dough in the bottom, fuckloads of meat, onions, mushrooms and good stuff then a thick layer of cheese on top.
a proper meal.

I've had this before, it was really fucking good. It convinced me that all deep dish haters are the type of people who had their mom cut the crusts off their sandwiches as kids.

DESU I think the only problem is the name. It would be fine if you didn't call it "pizza"
Anonymous United States No.215074754 [Report]
>>215074672
That's a dogshit deep dish. You don't want it to be all wet and goopy like that, you want it to be like OP's pic where it's cooled enough that the sauce can hold together when you slice it. Treat it how you would a lasagna, let it cool and solidify after you take it out of the oven or else you're just going to end up with a plate of sauce.

Dessert pizza is underrated.
Here's a good trick, mix up some cinnamon sugar and coat the dough in it (at least the bottom). You'll get a great caramelized crust.
I usually make it with some sweetened yogurt as the 'sauce' and some dollops of jam, fruit, and crushed almonds as the 'toppings'.
