I visited last year and the fact that EVERY SINGLE HOUSE being built wall to wall to their neigbours and basically nobody having a front lawn just astounds me.

Every middle-class neighborhood looks like a favela. And it gets even worse in the small towns.

Some city centers are ok, i'd even say Pueblas historic center is beautiful, but basically every neighborhood is ugly as fuck.

Most cities really wouldn't, specially because modern cities look awful.

But i wouldn't go so far as saying that most Center/Southern Mexico cities look as good as Puebla, CDMX or Morelia.

Oaxaca looks alright, but it doesn't hold a candle to those other cities.

I do think that the city centers in MX usually do look good, except in the North.

That said, the neighborhoods unfortunately look so bad they feel like most of the country is a huge favela .
