Reading up on serbian farming,way too many of us are doing it apparently.
According to data atleast 25% to half of serbs work in agriculture/keep animals full time or to support a extra income,the big reason why our food is so stupid cheap on farmer markets is because there is just too many of us making food a added bonus is that big corpo farming cant exist because of this.
This is not due to some grandfather was villager thing either the majority got into farming after communism and what is worse a good chunk of them especially boomers and genx REFUSE to leave their farms and seek more productive employment they are all somewhat trained factory hands that were scared by globohomo capitalism form the 2000s so hard they want to grow cabbage to each other for the rest of their lives.

We have de industrialized so hard and so fast and left so many people unemployed for so long that a good chunk of the population just permanently dosent want to hold a regular job ever again even if they could and are essentially subsistence farmers.

Probably just going to doomscroll. I might head out to the beach this weekend though, so I'll probably gather all the stuff I might need for a beach day. Hopefully the warm weather sticks around for just a bit longer.

Just got home from an early dismissal from my work/school. Will probably walk to the store, bring a couple popsicles home, then get some studying done with a beer in hand. Probably also clean up my apartment, it's a mess from weeks of constant work and untreated depression

The thing that sucks about being in a mid sized American city is that there’s nothing to do on a Friday night that doesn’t cost money. There are no parks, no open air live music, no good places to walk (unless you like being robbed), and you have to drive everywhere anyways. Basically there’s nothing to do that doesn’t cost money, like going out to eat or going shopping. And even if you wanted to do that, for some reason everything closes at 8 or 9PM anyways.
