If we get proper state elections. The whole "representatives vote for a comission" system is convoluted bs and leads to massively unpopular picks like Ursula for chairman. No one other than other politicians would crown her. It a massive barrier between the will of the people and the comission

If Germany was able to care about the needs and wants of the other european countries this would already be in discussions.
I've already abandoned France being a counterpower to Germany since we don't even have power in our own country.
