a well made game. movement was great, made backtracking not much of an issue. combat's fun enough, the crests change your basic moveset and then there are a lot of tools, but the meat's in bosses and bosses are pattern memorization. it felt like a fighting game at times, except you don't have interrupts/attack priority at all. so difficulty was a bitch sometimes, but that's how it was supposed to be. after godhome I wouldn't have expected anything less. if I have to be honest I've cheesed one boss, but that was a bit of an accident.
