My mom has mental problems and my dad hates me because I didn't make the football team and make him proud when it mattered. Now they're just old and take out their frustrations on me and my children. Yes I would rather rent than go back to my bedroom and subject my wife to the emotional abuse I was given.

I'd put both into retirement homes but they're already planning on selling the house and living in a retirement "community" with a golf course. Dad's already spent his money on a new SUV that he doesn't drive, so I won't have much when they expire. I will probably have both cremated and sell their plots for cash.

I make 35% more than minimal wage. I live with my parents. I only spend 20% of what I make per month, putting the rest into stocks and savings. We own our property because my grandparents got it for free during the commie days.
