I wonder if the term "visajeet" is something new, or if Indians immigrated to other nations in medieval times
I really want to know whether Indians traveled to the Middle East or Arabia or persia during that time or not

I think British brought them essentially as slaves to a few places in their empire.
I believe there is a Fiji flag on /int/ who is a jeet descended from that.
That was pretty recently though, 1879 apparently is when Indians were first brought to Fiji.
