My experience of them has been perfectly fine desu, they're a bit weird but reasonably polite and seem to be nice with their kids. I have received assurances that I must be dealing with the top 0.5% of their general population and that the (good) ones I deal with are not representative of the people as a whole. Even so, I still instinctively never eat Indian food, knowing what I know about their hygiene habits, or lack thereof.
