I think I've spotted a fake Japanese Youtube Channel, and would like to hear the opinions of other anons. The channel in question is called "Salaryman Tokyo".

The video in the OP pic got recommended to me yesterday, and checking their channel, it was full of videos with AI and stock photo thumbnails. The videos themselves aren't AI, but something feels very off about them. The channel owner claims to be a Japanese salaryman working for a Black Corporation, and most of the videos are about him walking through Tokyo or other places, while complaining about waging or traveling.
The channel itself is registered to US and was made back in 2017, but the first upload was only a year ago. Around the same time he uploaded his first video, he made another channel called "Salaryman Travel", and despite being created in January 2025, its first upload was just 10 days ago.
Moreover, despite claiming to be a constantly busy and tired Japanese salaryman, he has a merch store with t-shirts and caps.

Please tell me your thoughts, anons. Am I being a schizo, or is there something fishy going on with this channel? It's not AI slop (except for the thumbnails), as all the videos are real, but the presentation just feels off.

its probably a real japanese guy who made one video on the subject then his channel blew up and he quit his job but continues to fraud as a depressed office worker to farm views.
