This is a bit misleading since pretty much everyone here just uses the built in SMS function with RMS chats but Facebook Messenger is the second most popular one.

Yeah I use telegram and my friends and I host an IRC server for fun to chat. That is not representative of what people use in uruguay and therefore is not pertinent to this thread.
