The Soviet Union: Machine-gunned the emperor.
China: Made the emperor a botanical gardener.
Both communist countries, why did they treat their last emperors so differently?

Nicholas Romanov was killed to end the support of the opposition towards the tsar. Also, Nicholas Romanov can't get out from Moscow during the time of the Russian revolution because all the surrounding oblasts are controlled by Bolsheviks, so he's gonna die anyway.
>where was he gonna escape to anyway?
To London, because he is cousin with King George V of England

Chiang Kai Shek wanted to execute Puyi for acting at the interest of Imperial Japan, but when Puyi was captured in Manchuria and put on trial somewhere in Siberian Russia, he was extradited back to Communist China where he was imprisoned for 10 years and became a full fledged communist, which is all part of Mao's communist propaganda. He died before the Cultural Revolution so maybe it might've turned out different if he lived a bit longer.

Every time South Korea changes presidents, the previous president or their family members get arrested on some charge.
And Japan has repeatedly had promises broken by South Korea, which declares, “Any agreements made by the previous bad president are null and void!”

This is the reality preventing Japan and South Korea from having good relations.

The execution of the royal Russian family wasn’t sanctioned by Lenin. It was just some rogue local commies.

The last Emperor, Nicholas II, was a massive retard who ordered his own people to be shot during a religious holiday in 1905 and managed to completely screw up the Eastern Front by doing fuck all. He was hated by almost everyone. Many of the Whites weren’t monarchists, but republicans.

China wasn't a communist country when it overthrew the emperor.

>The execution of the royal Russian family wasn’t sanctioned by Lenin
He 100% approved of it afterward. Not a single person responsible for it was punished. He'd already given the order to execute them if things started going badly for the revolution. In the end the local bolsheviks heard some White Army was moving towards the city and decided that was enough to meet Lenin's first order. If he'd wanted to stop it he could have.

Mao wanted to prove his teachings could correct anyone. That's all. It was a matter of propaganda. It's not an apples-to-apples comparison either- there was a very genuine possibility Nicholas II could have been restored as Emperor had he been freed and the Whites came out victorious, but by 1945 Puyi was a total nobody. He had no actual support in China, he was 100% a puppet figurehead. Neither the Communists or the KMT supported the monarchy. Even if Puyi ended up fleeing to America or wherever, they weren't going to fight a war to restore his throne.

Sure, sure. But it wasn’t sanctioned by him. He learned of it after the fact.

Nigger read.

This is a fact. They were dead sooner or later.

He gave the order to shoot them if they were at risk of being freed.
They were at risk of being freed.
They were shot.
Whether he wrote the order that morning doesn't matter, they still acted on his prior orders. Close the tab instead of digging in you actual 80 IQ retard.

They also did the same with Demchugdongrub, leader of the Japanese puppet of Mengjiang. Re-educated him and didn’t kill him. Made him write 14 memoirs. Pretty based and Mao-pilled.
Anonymous France No.215893355 [Report]
*9 memoirs
Then made him work at the Inner Mongolia history museum in Hohhot. Chad Mao’s totalitarianism was one level higher that of the Soviet Union and didn’t fear separatism.
