Why are so many countries not allowing you in?

Considering the way I was treated at every american airport it makes sense other countries would get pissed off.
Americans think there's only one passport in the world that's theirs, or maybe they don't even believe in citizenship. Border control looked at my passport like it was a piece of toilet paper. Meanwhile they affectionately nodded at mexicans and blacks with their US drivers licenses at the airports.
