Chennai and Hyderabad are places I'd like to check out someday, but I really have no clue what's in Bangalore. I guess it's one of their "modern new cities", but living in Tokyo... I think I get enough of that here. A bit of chaos is what makes India fun.

Kerala and Karnataka are probably where I'll go next for the nature. Himachal Pradesh and far north India are another place I'm considering, but after that terrorist attack and shit popping off with Pakistan a while back, I'm kind of reluctant to go near there.

I'm really surprised. I thought Vietnam was way cleaner than India, at least it looks cleaner in the travel blogs and drive through videos. I know that some SEA countries are almost as dirty as India, like the Philippines and Indonesia but they don't get that much bad rep for whatever reason.

I think a part of what makes India so repulsive is our physical appearance. Foreigners come to India and see brown, short people who can't speak English and they feel grossed out even if nothing bad actually happened.
