do people like watching construction in your country?

I don't like construction. It's loud, dusty, and inconvenient.

yeah, I always stare at construction workers showing respect as we both work jobs that are both horribly paid and society wouldn't be able to function at all without them

We watch them to warn kids what will happen if they don't finish school.

yes, they were building a large supermarket a few blocks away from my house, and every time I walked by there were some old guys standing in front of the construction site, gawking at workers
sometimes they were even drinking mate together

They're building a lift in my building, everyday I take a look to see the advancements
It's an old building so the lift is built on the exterior, against the wall. This week they started foundations, but they left a pit, I think the lift engine is gonna be at the bottom of the shaft.
I'm really eager to see how they build the rest of the shaft, like do they just go by the inside, use scaffoldings, a little crane maybe? And how do they put the cabin in? By the roof? Or it's built on site?
So many questions
