Thats not going to undo the bad stuff that happened to you or prevent the coming bad stuff from effecting you too though. Lord Krishna tells us that suffering is going to happen, if we try to argue we are unmanly and unaryan. Just like Christ tells us that he suffered for us, so we all have to suffer too.
