Is it normal as a monolinguist to look down on ESLs?

I really do feel superior to them. I never had to spend hundreds of hours learning a second language because my ancestors dominated so hard. I never get treated as a second-class citizen & nobody strains to understand me. When you only speak English it's like the entire world was made for you.

I get annoyed by ESLs because they often post stupid shit, or act retarded. 3rd worlders getting on English communities has caused a decrease in quality.
I now just have a visceral reaction of annoyance and disgust when I see someone butcher English.

Rationally speaking, no, English just happens to be the current lingua franca. You just got lucky to be born in the Anglosphere.
Why would you not want to be more skilled/knowledgable anyway?

Learning a second language trains your memory
I'm a native english speaker but taught myself Japanese and not only was the payoff enjoyable but i genuinely understand more about language in general and have an easier time picking up words in English too.

Few years, I mostly just learnt it through watching copious amounts of media in Japanese that I enjoyed. My entire goal in the first place was so I could read it the way it was supposed to be read in it's native language.

I can only speak two languages, when the baseline to be considered human is three here. I wish I knew more, but I'm too lazy to study.
