Australia as a colonial project by England is completely fucked and it's over

>We've doubled our population in 20 years in Melbourne because gdp must go up. Of course this leads to increased homelessness but at least big business, real estate and finance are richer
>Chinese and Indians buy up all the million dollar shitbox abspestos properties and try to rent them out to us for $700-800 a week but none of us will pay that so they sit dormant while homelessness skyrockets
>Zero negotiating power. AUKUS means nothing. Our strategic location means nothing.
>Tarneit in the melbourne area is like 50% Indian
>No manufacturing
>Aussies given up and just live on job seeker benefits and how many people causally take ice, acid and speed to cope and escape
>constantly told "If Australia doesn't import Chinese and Indians, it will fall behind"
>the homeless, one was smashing the pay phone and one was screaming, huffing spray paint
>hordes of methed out homeless people in the city centre
>lost it's car industry and is turning into a service based economy with money from the government. We don't make anything anymore, just sell it all to China
>Sydney and Melbourne are concrete jungles with many people not even having a backyard so can't grow their own food when Woolworths and Coles can no longer fill shelves due to lack of fuel

Just remove zoning and build tall blocks of flats rather than detached houses and homelessness will be fixed soon. It's even cooler to live on the 30th floor than on the first one

will never happen for as long as more than half of the population have or are in the mortgage of a property.
every time the bubble looks like it could crash either party will do something that saves it such as supporting first home buyers.

Do Anglos realize you can own apartments in condos too? I already noticed Anglos cannot somehow comprehend it, I once debated commieblocks with an American and he clearly had a hard time understanding how you can own each flat in the building separately, he had the idea of them being more like rooms in one house.

Doing that would lower the cost of housing which is something our government would never ever ever ever ever ever ever allow no matter which party is in charge because they all invest in real estate and so have personal financial interest in not solving the problem. The absolute most they will do is make debt trap loans for deposits more widely available to first home buyers which only creates even more competition since they absolutely will not increase supply by building more houses or reduce demand by slowing immigration

Why keep ramping up population growth when there aren’t enough productive sectors like manufacturing or mining left to absorb people?
If the idea was that Australia could somehow leap into a “knowledge economy” while the US pays engineers and scientists twice as much, then it was a bad plan
