Most mexican immigrants are peasants, who lost everything due to NAFTA (ie american agroexports flooding the country & ruining the peasentry)

However once in USA they become proletariats.

Indians on the contrary, most of them who go to the USA already go in position of middle men (ie managers, clerks, chieff officers, etc) meaning they're used by capital to administer & increment surplus values

Thus in a bourgeoisie society such as the american one, the politician caters to the middle-men, since they are the visible civilian enforcers of capitalism
