Japan is one of the most densely populated countries, they're overcrowded and horribly overpopulated. Imagine a country with slightly less total land mass than Spain, 3x the population, and 70% of the land is unusable due to mountains. Nothing will happen, the US gives Japan oil and food for practically free and they're not self-sufficient in either food or energy. Their entire ability to sustain themselves depends on politics.

I'm not sure what average Japanese people think of Indians, but i feel like most of immigrants in East Asian countries(beside CCP) are Chinese and i absolutely despise them. They're literally like what you guys think of brown thirdies in the west(dirty, noisy, scamming people, abusing social infrastructure by using loopholes etc) and sometimes they're even way worse(forming organised crime gangs, threat to national security, housing speculation).
