Growing up in my city there were homeless drug addicts everywhere
I remember walking through the park to go to the beach and we came across an elderly looking homeless man who was walking in circles talking to himself and my dad told me he went to school with him and that he went insane after abusing drugs
There used to be syringes everywhere and my dad would show them to me whenever we came across them on walks to instill a fear of them into me
Things are a lot better now
