They have this weird thing with houses named after greek letters. It's the place where the american species enter its period of degeneracy. You get a mediocre to bad education, for relatively cheap.
Good: Language courses, mathematics, region-related job-oriented programs (ex. my local CC has a fisheries program).
Bad "101" courses for retarded people who didn't graduate high school, humanities.
Okay: Everything else else.

You get a 2 year associates degree for cheap and complete your bachelors at a university that accepts the credit transfers.
