I am currently studying Chinese by myself.
The pronunciation is really hard, and Chinese characters are really inefficient.
I think Korea was very lucky to abandon the Chinese text.
China's misfortune is that they invented letters too early.
I think it's also good to introduce the alphabet like Vietnam.
