He was known as an abuser and rapist in our town when he was younger.
Women, boys, little kids, you name it.
Mf even managed to escape two court convictions because his brother was a well known judge.
He was like a bogeyman to the kids in the neighborhood.
Parents would tell their children, "If you’re not asleep by 9 pm I’m calling [his name]."
Now imagine living above someone like that
. And yeah, he abused me several times when my parents weren’t around.
He had this fixation with my chest and neck idk why, but I’m not going into that now
Unfortunate foe me things at home weren’t any better. My dad was addicted to meth and always thought my mom was unfaithful to him so he’d hit her and me for no fucking reason.
One night, around 3 am in the middle of winter, he lost control. He started beating my mom, and I knew I’d be next. I was fed up and said fuck it , so I ran out of the house and sat in front of the building. I wanted to wait until my dad calmed down, but the cold was unbearable. With nowhere else to go, I did the unthinkable and knocked on that guy’s door. In my situation, dealing with a creep who wants to rape me seemed better than getting hit by my angry dad.
I was prepared for anything. When he opened the door, I broke down crying and begged to come in. He let me in, told me to sit on the couch, and asked what happened. I told him everything. I expected him to say something like I’d have to take my clothes off to stay or shit like that , but he didn’t. Instead, he gave me a chocolate and said everything gonna be okay.
Turns out, he had a similar past. His dad was a drug addict and died from an overdose. He handed me a blanket and said, "Hey kid, you’re safe here." I’ll never forget that. It felt like Ronaldinho telling a random Brazilian kid they’re teammates now.
That’s how big it was for me.He never touched me again after that night and was always there to support me with any problem.
